MS Streams : How to edit captions offline

Whilst the easiest method to edit your video captions is using the built-in MS Streams caption editor, an alternative is to edit them offline using notepad.

Whilst some academics have found this methond to be quicker (Especially for longer videos) care must be taken not to edit the time-codes or other system information within the file.
