Recording a Voice Over Video

Under normal circumstances we try to avoid having only slides without seeing the person who is presenting as this is disengaging for the viewer. To mitigate this we would recommend recording some 'talking head' or 'piece to camera' videos so that the students can put a face to the voice they are listening to. See the other sections of this site for help in how to do this.

.

Audio Quality

It is essential that you capture good quality clear audio for any recording. If you have a microphone let us know and we can do some test with this, there is some guidance on setting up a microphone here but remember to test each time as you don't want to talk for 10 minutes only to discover nothing was recorded or the audio can't be used.
