Changes to roles within SBS

A number of changes have been made to roles within Strathclyde Business School recently. Professor Krishna Paudyal is replacing Professor Andy Marshall as head of the Accounting and Finance department as Professor Marshall has served the maximum six years in this role. Professor Alan Wilson replaces Professor Kevin Ibeh, who has now left Strathclyde, as head of the Marketing department.

Professor Sara Carter has been appointed as a new Associate Deputy Principal (Learning and Teaching) and will play a critical role in supporting the Principal and Senior Academic Officers in the academic leadership and management of the University, particularly in relation to Learning and Teaching and Internationalisation. She is also currently Associate Director of the Enterprise Research Centre. As a result of Professor Carter's move to Associate Deputy Principal (Learning and Teaching), Professor Eleanor Shaw has taken over as Head of the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship.

Professor Peter McGregor, Professor Dennis Nickson and Professor Susan Howick continue as head of the Economics, Human Resource Management and Management Science departments respectively, while Professor David Hillier continues as acting head of the Strategy and Organisation department.

In other roles, Professor Barbara Simpson has also been appointed as Associate Dean Research for SBS, taking over from Professor Dora Scholarios while Helyn Gould has been appointed as Vice Dean Academic for SBS and Professor David Hillier has become Vice Dean Operations.

The Faculty Management Group is now: Professor Susan Hart (Dean), Professor David Hillier (Vice Dean Operations), Professor Paul Thompson (Vice Dean Research), Dr Jill MacBryde (Vice Dean KE), Helyn Gould (Vice Dean Academic), Professor Colin Eden (Vice Dean Staffing) and Catherine Court (Faculty Manager).
