AACSB reaccredits SBS for further five years
Strathclyde Business School has been reaccredited by AACSB for the maximum five year period, having undergone a rigorous review process which involves a peer review team from the business education community assessing the business school against stringent criteria.
AACSB Accreditation ensures a school is providing its students with a challenging, relevant education that prepares them for the business world.
In order to earn and sustain business accreditation, an institution must align with a set of 15 business accreditation standards that focus on mission and strategic management; support for students, faculty, and staff; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement of students and faculty.
The accreditation process is a rigorous process that ensures business schools are delivering the bet in business education when schools display the AACSB Accreditation seal, it sends a signal to the world that graduates and alumni from their institution are prepared to lead in today’s competitive, global business environment.
Executive Dean of Strathclyde Business School, Professor David Hillier, said, “We are delighted to receive full reaccreditation from AACSB, testament to the fact we are amongst the world’s best business schools: only 5% of the world’s schools offering business degrees have achieved AACSB international accreditation.

AACSB is one of three international accreditation bodies which includes AMBA and EQUIS - Strathclyde Business School is accredited by all three. Accreditation is about excellent and continuous quality improved linked to the strategy, vision and leadership of the Business School.
