Strathclyde alumni called back for a taste of the future

Babcock International Group for global participants who were identified as part of the company’s long term succession planning. Another highly successful international client is Weir, for whom we are delivering management education to managers from across Europe, to Russia, Canada, India, South America, Asia and Australia. Our bespoke MBA designed and currently being delivered to Iberdrola is yet another example of our expertise in international executive education.

In order to ensure our competitive edge we recently undertook some research with the Strathclyde Business School Advisory Board as well as listening to feedback from the companies we work with about what key skills senior managers and CEOs find are lacking in middle management. The output from this research has resulted in our launching a new series of Master Taster sessions to address these target areas.

Running from June to August 2014, the half day taster sessions are being offered to alumni for free, with a view to offering two day master classes at a later stage.  The key themes identified by CEOs as being crucial to business success, but which are often lacking in middle and senior managers are project management skills, leadership, maximising managerial effectiveness and entrepreneurial thinking within business.

Our aim is that by targeting these key areas, we will continue to uphold Strathclyde Business School’s ethos of ‘useful learning’ while working in partnership with businesses to fully equip our clients for the future.

If you’re interested in learning more about the taster sessions, find our more information here. If you wish to apply for a taster session, please email Terrianne Gillan.
